So, I am an addict currently in hospital and the reason I am here is directly related to the way individual Doctors in the UK’s NHS treat addicts. I have an abscess on the dorsum of my left foot, which is so bad that, if it does not heal on its own with the help of antibiotics, I will need a skin graft from my thigh. However, 2 days later and the area from my toes to my ankle was red and there was a purple dot around the injection site. A day later and it was hurting badly, but I had pressing concerns so I did not take my sock off and just carried on regardless.
